Sudan Meets South Sudan December 13th!

featuring two guests r0g_agency is hosting as part of the Elisabeth-Selbert-Initiative (ESI) for Human Rights Defenders, together with a key colleague from the #ASKnet project.
Onor Hamad and Khadiga Mustafa from Port Sudan will be joined by Yine Yenki Nyika from Juba, South Sudan for a look at the rapidly changing dynamics in their respective countries. Two lands, two territories, and now two states struggling to find peace, and which despite South Sudan’s independence in 2011 are still intertwined in cultural, social and political bonds – now perhaps more than ever. ‘Sudan meets South Sudan’ is an informal yet special get-together – an opportunity to share experiences, discuss the status, challenges, and perhaps the region’s future.
We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, December 13th at 4pm at the OPEN CULTURE OFFICE Knobelsdorffstraße 22, 14059 Berlin-Charlottenburg for this special get-together. The event will take place primarily in English with Arabic and German translation as required and featuring wonderful Sudanese treats. Entry is free, but we ask you to register via info@openculture.agency in advance as space is limited!
