Web Content Developer – UI/UX & Graphic Designer

FemPeaceEA: We’re currently looking for an african female feminist Web Content Developer & UI/UX & Graphic Designer for our East African Feminist Peace Network Project – task based, time frame 3 months.
The project aims to strengthen grassroots feminist organizations in East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan, and Uganda) through capacity and network building to enhance women’s full and meaningful participation in conflict prevention and peacebuilding processes.
The person we are looking for has to have worked in the african feminist spaces before and has to identify as an African feminist. The project is implemented in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Ethiopia and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development.

- Editing & Proofreading
- Website UI/UX Design (16 – 18 web pages)
- Core Pages (6 Pages: About, Grants, Training
- Cohorts, Blog, Resources, Contact)
- 1 Custom One-Pager Template page for 9 organizations
- Custom Illustrations & Animations
- Hero & Section Illustrations (4-5 custom pieces)
- Icons & Graphics
- Micro-Animations (3-5 simple animations)
- WordPress Supervision & Consultation
- Supervising Developer (Design QA, Feedback
- Sessions)
- Hand-off, Training & Documentation
As the Web Content Developer & UI/UX & Graphic Designer, you will work closely with our FemPeaceEA team in Uganda and Berlin.
